Set aside time for your family to say goodbye. This may include FaceTime or video calls with immediate family members. Then contact Principles Pet Cremations to schedule a time to finalize your pet’s transition arrangements.
Our team will work closely with you to schedule pickup within two to four hours so your family has time to grieve. Expedited service is available for an additional fee.
After your pet is recovered, our team will transport them back to our facility and prepare them for cremation. Your pet will then be transported to the crematory for final transition. The remains will be handled by our team and delivered to your home when ashes are included in the selected service.
The expected turnaround time is five to seven days.
Your pet will receive a unique identification number that follows them throughout the transition process. The identification number will also appear on your pet’s cremation certificate.
Private cremation is intended for families who want individual service and may wish to attend. Communal cremation includes more than one pet; each pet is kept in an individual space so remains are separated.
Yes. Pets may be picked up from a veterinarian. Many veterinary offices also offer aftercare services, so families may choose the option that feels right for them.
